Find it a challenge to cut up raw chicken and other meats? Who doesn't? Next time you have to cut raw, boneless chicken or meat for stir-fry, soups or saute, try this simple kitchen tip to keep it from "moving" all over the cutting board: Partially freeze (or partially thaw) the meat before you cut it.

Why? Partially freezing the meat makes it much easier to handle and you can get uniform-sized pieces, which makes for quicker cooking! Simple as that. Just remember to thoroughly clean surfaces and knives afterward.

Great tip, @laura-morey. I do this all the time and it works like a charm. Added tip from me? Always use a plastic cutting board with poultry, never wood, which absorbs germs and is harder to clean.
